Ben currently serves as a speechwriter for Mayor Matt Mahan. He holds a degree in Urban Planning from Arizona State University and a degree in Journalism from Sacramento City College. Before joining the Mayor’s team, Ben’s desire to serve his community led him to a career in journalism, working as a reporter at news outlets in the Central Valley and the Bay Area.
