Neighborhood Outreach: Are you ready to ignite a sense of belonging and empower community voices in one of the nation's most dynamic cities? As an intern with the Neighborhood Outreach team, you'll have the chance to work directly with residents and organizations to help forge strong bonds between the government and our diverse residents. This role will allow you to explore San Jose, give back to the community, and share Mayor Mahan’s message across the city.
Communications: Are you ready to dive headfirst into the fast-paced world of communications to make a meaningful impact on San Jose? Mayor Mahan’s Office is seeking dynamic and driven Communications Interns to join our team and help shape the narrative of progress and innovation in the capital of Silicon Valley. You will have the important job of responding to constituent concerns, creating eye-catching social media graphics and captions, assisting with the creation and execution of all things digital media, and even helping to draft press releases, talking points, and more!
