As the Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Neighborhood Outreach, Matthew is working with neighbors throughout San José to improve conditions related to blight, homelessness and public safety. As a native San Josean, Matthew has been a President of two separate neighborhood associations, worked with community leaders on historical projects celebrating the City's history, and has regularly helped organized one of the largest National Night Out events in San José at St James Park in downtown. Matthew lives in downtown with his wife A'Dreana and son James.
