Sammi is a proud first-generation Vietnamese-American, with her family arriving to San Jose over 40 years ago. She is honored to serve the city she was born and grew up in, and she’s passionate about making San Jose a better place to work and play for all residents. When out of the office, she enjoys eating pho with her family in Vietnam Town, drinking coffee with friends at Voyager Craft Coffee, and walking her dogs at Almaden Lake Park.
