VINCENT ROCHA
A native of Silicon Valley with roots in Santa Clara and San José, Vince currently works as the Senior Advisor to the Mayor on Economic Development Housing, and Land Use.
While he grew up in Silicon Valley, he worked in Washington D.C. for Congressman Jerry McNerney before moving back to San José to work for his local Congressman Mike Honda. He then transitioned to be the Director of Government Affairs for the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® focused on policies that assist first-time homebuyers that made it into Santa Clara County’s Measure A. Most recently Vince worked as Vice President of Housing and Community Development at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group where he lead the successful Measure RR campaign with the Committee to Save Caltrain and wrote state laws on streamlining housing approvals.
His passions are hiking with his dogs, fun runs, and complete streets. Vince is an alumnus of Santa Clara High School with two B.A. degrees from the University of California Riverside in Political Science and U.S. History.
